Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions. Exclude technicians working in production or quality assurance.

Key Duties"
- Fabrication of cable assemblies for flight and ground support hardware.
- Electronic, mechanical, or electromechanical assembly.
- Constructing, troubleshooting, calibrating, adjusting, testing, and maintaining equipment, components, devices, and/or systems.
- Able to work and build assemblies in accordance with work instructions.
- Ability to read and work to engineering drawings
- Perform a variety of hands-on electrical assembly and minor mechanical assembly tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations.
- Conduct basic math and use computers at a basic level.
- May conduct in process quality inspections on work in process in accordance with quality specifications.
- Make continuity checks on work in process and completed work.
- May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications under simulated conditions.
- Ability to gain proficiency in one of the following: mechanical or electrical build sequences.
- Ability to follow detailed work instructions.
- Experience working in a production type environment.
- Manufacturing experience
- Experience with Bonding, mate/de-mate cables and hardware
- Active Security Clearance - Preferred but if not holding currently must obtain ASAP
