PlanIT Group is hiring a Accounting BA- Phinsys- Remote. This is a very fast paced company! This role requires at least 3 years of maintaining and update project plans (Phinsys & other projects), ownership of backlog items & reporting as separate projects, ability to Document & deliver weekly project summaries, and experience keeping technical resources on track - set timelines & following up to ensure completion. You must have an accounting background to work alongside accounting to understand & document requirements for Phinsys enhancements. You will ensure testing accuracy by working closely alongside QA, perform Analytical assessments : perform qualitative analysis on data, identify system issues or inadequacies & work on solutions to overcome them - putting processes in place where there aren't any currently ( i.e. system control points, reconciliations etc.), document a system playbook that includes general system functionality, configuration & closing processes and document training materials. Experience 5 years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or Systems Analyst role Strong experience gathering requirements and performing BA duties with an Enterprise sized Accounting Department Must have at least 3 years of working with Accounting Departments to understand Revenue Recognition and ideally ASC606 Comprehensive knowledge of Agile / Scrum and project management tools Proven experience with use case diagrams and process flow creation Formalize product feature documentation thereby creating EPICs, Features, and User Stories in Azure DevOps (ADO) Ensure testing accuracy by working closely alongside QA Perform Analytical assessments : perform qualitative analysis on data, identify system issues or inadequacies & work on solutions to overcome them - putting processes in place where there aren't any currently ( i.e. system control points, reconciliations etc.) Document a system playbook that includes general system functionality, configuration & closing processes Document training materials Experience with Azure DevOps, Microsoft products, and ServiceNow Tools : Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps / TFS, MS Teams, SQL Server, Power BI
