About the Role: The Senior Facilities Maintenance Technician will provide facilities related support to all locations within the Planned Parenthood of the Columbia Willamette affiliate.  This position is responsible for performing and/or coordinating maintenance, repair, and replacement of all furniture, fixtures, and equipment, including medical equipment and building systems for all locations operated by the affiliate. Coordinating major activities with the Facilities Manager, the Senior Facilities Maintenance Technician will prioritize, oversee and coordinate a wide range of facility issues. Schedule Expectations: This is a full-time position, (37.5 hours/week) Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm­. Additionally, we encourage applications from Black, Indigenous and People of Color, people with disabilities, members of the 2SLGBTQIA community, women and others who have been historically marginalized.  Required Qualifications:   High school diploma or equivalent Five (5) years of facilities maintenance or equivalent experience, including working knowledge of building critical systems and some specialized trades skills with: carpentry, light plumbing, light electrical and mechanical abilities. Demonstrated experience working independently, with limited direct supervision and simultaneously manage multiple affiliate wide issues. Experience in customer service and ability to adapt to changes. Experience in the use and operation of wide range tools. Willingness to learn more about and train on topics that may include, but are not limited to health equity, racial justice, reproductive justice, cultural humility, and trauma-informed care. Willingness to contribute to an inclusive work environment by using trauma-informed principles in interactions with coworkers, patients, donors, volunteers, and community partners. Total Rewards: The full wage range for this position is $25.02 to $36.45 hourly, depending on experience. Travel to all PPCW locations required and attend in person meetings as requested. Physical requirements: must be able to sit, walk, stand, squat, twist/bend neck & waist, reach above/below shoulder height, utilize repetitive hand movement (simple/power grasping, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling) for 6-8 hrs/day.  Must be able to move items weighing up to 50 pounds. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, early mornings and weekends.   Location: This position requires in-person work, supporting all PPCW facilities in Oregon and Southwest Washington. All PPCW employees must reside in Oregon or Washington. Essential Functions: Provide hands-on support to repair most common building materials, including but not limited to painting, drywall repairs, ceiling tiles, cove base, carpeting, glass, tile, vinyl, furniture, and common wall mounted fixtures.  Provide hands-on support to repair and/or diagnose problems with medical equipment such as ultrasounds, centrifuges, exam tables, and similar devices. Manage and coordinate vendors, accurately describe situations and possible solutions over a wide range of issues related to facilities, security and medical equipment.  Schedule and coordinate onsite repairs and coordinate such actions with PPCW staff. Utilize the PPCW trouble ticket system to determine outstanding issues and record implemented resolutions.  Ensures tickets are addressed in a timely manner, consistent with PPCW polices, procedures, and service level agreements. Provide oversight to all tickets submitted, assigning each to a team member including themselves and the Facilities Manager. Manage staff requests and inventory of office and janitorial supplies for the Flanagan building.  Affliate-wide, oversee and report janitorial service quality issues to Facilities Manager. Communicate with Facilities Manager and general staff to describe and provide status updates on current situations and planned resolutions. Support affiliate onsite response to weather-related conditions to ensure team members, patients, and visitors can safely access PPCW facilities. In coordination with the Facilities Manager, provides input on planning, strategy, building systems, emerging building systems technology and processes that improve affiliate operations. Assist with budget planning, execution and procurement needs, including research and product selection.  Other duties as assigned as necessary to meet organizational and business need
