Planned Parenthood of Northern, Central and Southern New Jersey, Inc. (PPNCSNJ) provides comprehensive reproductive and sexual health care, abortion services, education and information to women, men and teens at 17 health centers throughout 18 counties in New Jersey.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Education/Licensure/Certification: Bachelor’s Degree or relative work experience required. SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.
Experience: Requires at least (3 ) years’ experience in human resources related field, healthcare preferred. Requires 1 experience in HRI systems. Strong consulting skills, ability to multi-task and work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced HR department. The incumbent must possess a strong drive and desire to help build a diverse, equitable and inclusive work environment.
Essential Functions:
1. Promotes an organizational culture that embraces the affiliate’s workplace values and works with staff to create and maintain a workplace environment reflective of those values.
2. Collaborate with senior management to develop HR strategies that support the overall mission and goals of Planned Parenthood of Northern, Central Southern NJ.
3. Ensures HRIS is actively updated and maintained current.
4. Manages all terminations and related off-boarding functions, including Cobra, ADP, Principal, etc.
5. Participates in employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.
6. Provides employee relations coaching and support to assigned health center staff & administrative departments.
7. Partners with the Human Resources Coordinator (annual open enrollment, coordination of benefits fairs, answering benefit related inquiries).
8. Assist with affiliate employee engagement activities and events.
9. Partners with the Director of Talent & Acquisition on recruitment processes & initiatives.
10. Monitor various HR trends (i.e. retention, turnover, promotion) within area of responsibility and presents analysis and recommendations to managers.
11. Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication and employee engagement initiatives.
12. Ensure compliance with healthcare industry standards and regulations related to compensation and benefits.
13. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and healthcare regulations.
14. Maintain and update HR policies and procedures in accordance with legal requirements and best practices.
15. Monitor and analyze HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
16. Prepare and present regular reports on HR activities and outcomes to senior management.
17. Work on other administrative tasks or projects as assigned.
