Compensation Starting At
A predictable schedule
Schedule: Full Time 37.5 hours/week, benefits-eligible,
We are offering two schedule options: 4-5 Days per week
Whether you are new to reproductive health or are experienced in the field you will benefit from our paid training model. We offer comprehensive training to provide you with the tools you will need to thrive at PPRM.
To give you the best training possible in the shortest amount of time you may need to travel to Denver for 2-4 weeks during the first 1 to 2 months.
Travel: Travel to our Durango location is possible as we strive to ensure we meet the healthcare needs of patients throughout the Four Corners region.
Qualifications
You have completed an NP or CNM educational program and are certified as an NP or CNM by a national certification organization
You have a Nurse Practitioner or Certified Nurse Midwife license in the state of NM or are able to apply for one.
You enjoy working on a team and have great communication skills with both patients and colleagues.
Prior Reproductive/sexual Healthcare Experience Preferred

Compensation Starting At
- APC I: $52.50- $53.23 / hour * NP/CNM with less than 6 months of clinician experience
- APC II: $53.23- $69.16/hour
- This position is hourly, non-exempt.
- Sign On Bonus: $6,000 ($3,000 paid out in the first paycheck, and $3,000 paid upon completion of 1yr of continuous service)
- Relocation Bonus Out-of-state moves: $6,000 / In-state moves if living at least a 2.5-hour distance from the new work location: $3,000
- $1.25 / hour, upon passing a conversational Spanish Fluency test (30 min)
- $2.00 per hour differential for pre-approved time spent training, mentoring, and/or observing and signing off on required skills.

Essential Functions
- Secure and review the complete health history and record findings accurately.
- Perform physical examinations with special emphasis on the reproductive system.
- Provide cancer screening testing, diagnosis of sexually transmitted infections, and perform other types of more specialized procedures as indicated.
- Perform and order diagnostic studies as indicated and provide appropriate treatment and follow-up as necessary.
- Provide relevant education and collaborate with the health center team and other community agencies in providing comprehensive care.
- Provide birth control education and methods.
- Must see male clients.
- Work with health center staff on routine health center upkeep.
- Participates in abortion services (participation can include referrals, information, education, counseling, performing, scheduling, etc.)
- Demonstrates excellent customer service to both internal and external customers by working towards a positive outcome with any problems encountered.
