Compensation Starting At
This position is hourly, non-exempt, and benefits-eligible
APC I: $48.50- $49.23 / hour * NP/CNM with less than one year of reproductive/sexual healthcare experience
APC II: $49.23- $65.16/hour *NP/CNM with at least one year of prior experience in reproductive/sexual healthcare experience and/or with at least one year of PPRM

$1.25 / hour, upon passing a conversational Spanish Fluency test (30 min)
$2.00 per hour differential for pre-approved time spent training, mentoring, and/or observing and signing off on required skills.
Schedule: Part-Time, Approx. 35 - 38/hours per week (Avg 36.5). This is an alternating schedule.
Week A
Tuesday - Friday: 9 am - 7 pm
Week B
Tues: 9am - 7pm
Wed: 9am - 7pm
Fri: 9am - 7pm
Sat: 8am - 3pm

Qualifications
NP/CNM/APN with 1 years of prior experience, including prior reproductive health experience.
You enjoy working on a team and have great communication skills with both patients and colleagues.
You have completed an NP or CNM educational program and are certified as an NP or CNM by a national certification organization
You have a Nurse Practitioner or Certified Nurse Midwife license in the state of Colorado or are able to apply for one.

Flu Protocol: All employees working directly with patients, the community, or working in a health center will be required to have the flu shot or wear a mask during patient/community contact or while in the health center from November 1 – April 30 each year (Flu Season). - Number of evening shifts is negotiable, but at least one PM shift (9 am - 7 pm) is required per week. Alternative shift time is 8 am - 6 pm.

Essential Functions
- Secure and review the complete health history and record findings accurately.
- Perform physical examinations with special emphasis on the reproductive system.
- Provide cancer screening, testing, diagnosis of sexually transmitted infections, and perform other types of more specialized procedures as indicated.
- Perform and order diagnostic studies as indicated and provide appropriate treatment and follow-up as necessary.
- Provide relevant education and collaborate with the health center team and other community agencies in providing comprehensive care.
- Provide birth control education and methods.
- Must see male clients.
- Work with health center staff on routine health center upkeep.
- Participates in abortion services (participation can include referrals, information, education, counseling, performing, scheduling, etc.)
- Demonstrates excellent customer service to both internal and external customers by working towards a positive outcome with any problems encountered.
