Compensation Starting At

Position Salary Range $99,152.53 - $125,603.46 Per Year.

Starting PayAlthough our full pay range is included above, the budgeted hiring range for this position is $99,152.53 - $112,378.00 Per Year.

Upon passing a Conversational Spanish Oral Exam, you may also earn an additional $1.25/hr.

This position is salaried, exempt.

Schedule: Full Time, 1.0 FTE, Exempt. Benefits Eligible.

Typically work hours are Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm.

The Manager will be 100% on-site for the first month. After this initial period, on-site presence may be reduced by up to 50%, depending on the needs and outcomes of this pilot program. The exact on-site requirement beyond the first month has not yet been determined and will be assessed as the program progresses. Additionally, laws and regulations may change in the future that could require providers to be 100% on-site. We will continue to monitor any legal developments and adjust on-site expectations accordingly.

The Objective: This is a dynamic leadership position that encompasses both clinical and administrative responsibilities. The role will be split evenly with 50% dedicated to direct patient care as a Behavioral Healthcare Provider (BHP) and 50% focused on behavioral health program oversight, development and growth. As a BHP, the Behavioral Health manager is responsible for providing crisis intervention, conducting behavioral health assessments, and delivering therapeutic intervention to patients. In the administrative capacity, the BH manager leads the oversight of all BHP staff, ensuring high-quality care delivery and adherence to clinical standards. They are also pivotal in program development and growth initiatives, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to expand services and enhance patient outcomes. This dual-role position is ideal for a seasoned clinician with strong leadership skills and a passion for advancing behavioral health services.

Success: You will know you are successful when the Behavioral Health program is established at PPRM and patients have their behavioral health needs met by PPRM.

Snapshot: You are an expert in providing integrated care, co-located care, and/or case management to patients receiving abortion, family planning and/or gender affirming care. You are well versed in providing care that is educational, supportive, empathetic, and patient centered. You are detail oriented and skilled in technology and able to efficiently manage multiple competing tasks and priorities.

You may work from home or office, helping to establish a successful behavioral health program based on in-depth evaluation and learnings from an initial pilot. During the pilot, you will work 50% on site and 50% remote. You will oversee other BHPs working to establish an agency wide behavioral health program for patients in need of BH care.

Qualifications

  • You must have a master's degree in social work, counseling or clinical mental health counseling and have an active Colorado license in clinical social work (LCSW).
  • You must be willing to apply for and maintain licensure in New Medico and Wyoming. Application will be facilitated by PPRM as needed.
  • You have no restrictions on the ability to be credentialed with Medicaid or other payers.
  • You have at least two years experience in providing behavioral health interventions.
  • You are experienced in working with diverse populations, including LQBTQ populations and supporting gender affirming care.
  • You have knowledge of program development, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance in behavioral health care settings.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • You have excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • You are experienced in discussing sensitive information and education while reducing stigma required.
  • You have at least one year experience as a clinical supervisor, program manager, or supervisor in behavioral health.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.

Primary Areas Of Responsibility/Essential Functions

  • Provide Outstanding Patient Care At its core, your work is about providing care to patients who need you and doing so with the highest degree of competence and quality. You will triage behavioral health questions and concerns, in accordance with PPRM’s Medical Standards and Guidelines. You will provide crisis intervention and therapeutic intervention and will be a professional, nonjudgmental source of support to patients by offering information on reproductive, sexual health issues and gender affirming care both on site and by telemedicine. You will provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers by working towards a positive outcome with any problems encountered. You will perform mandatory reporting to Colorado, New Mexico and Wyoming State Departments of Health, when indicated.
  • Support Capacity-Building Efforts Internally: You will lead the behavioral health team in their growth and development, including the hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management and provision of clinical guidance, training and performance evaluations. You will ensure compliance with regulatory standards and clinical best practices in behavioral health care delivery. You will also cultivate a positive and inclusive culture and will act as a liaison between clinical staff, administrative teams and external partners to promote effective communication and collaboration. You will proactively and positively respond to change. You will function with a low level of supervision.
  • Manage a High Performing Team: You’re an experienced and adept manager who builds strong, trusting relationships with both direct reports and your entire line. You inspire and motivate your team to achieve significant results and give people access to the learning, tools, and growth they need to reach them. You model our values and empower your team to perform. You will mentor and supervise high-performing, competent, skillful, enthusiastic, and highly accountable behavioral health providers. You will develop and communicate clear, high expectations for staff, and hold staff accountable to those expectations, providing appropriate coaching, support, and feedback along the way.
  • Program Development: You will initially work closely with the research team to analyze program data and outcomes to drive quality improvement initiatives and inform strategic decision-making. You will work closely with other internal departments to build an agency wide, financially sustainable and highly effective program.
  • Program Director: You will oversee the Behavioral Health program and serve as the program director.
  • Professional Development: You will stay updated on industry trends, evidence-based practices, and regulatory changes in behavioral health care. You will participate in interdisciplinary meetings, staff training and professional development activities.

Abortion Care:We all work in abortion care, whether it is referrals, information, education, counseling, performing, scheduling, etc. In this role, you will provide leadership for abortion providers and direct care, education, and services for patients who have or may be seeking abortion care with PPRM.
