Are you experienced in Development Assessment? Step into a leadership role in our Sustainable Places Group to share your expertise with a diverse team and influence decisions that align with the current and future needs of the City of Coffs Harbour.
Working with and reporting to the Section Leader Development Assessment, this role involves :
- Offering expert planning advice to the community
- Overseeing the assessment and determination of development applications
- Mentoring and providing support to a team of development assessment staff
- Collaboration with the Development Assessment Section and other Sections of the City to improve and enhance the development assessment service, systems and processes
- Leading the day-to-day activities of a Development Assessment Team.
- Salary at the upper end of the range, OR
- A leaseback vehicle option, OR
- Relocation assistance, OR
- Generous leave entitlements - long service leave after 5 years.
- Tertiary qualifications in urban and regional planning or equivalent.
- Previous leadership experience in a development assessment role.
