To be considered for this role you should have tertiary qualifications in Urban and Regional Planning, and be able to demonstrate relevant experience in areas such as :
- Planning support tasks, including research and literature reviews, collating information, drafting correspondence and reports.
- Assisting project leads to prepare, lodge, monitor and follow up on various planning documents.
- Reviewing updated policies and guidelines associated with the preparation of planning advice.
- Undertaking planning due diligence investigations and summarising these outcomes for clients under the guidance of senior planning staff.
- Liaising with co-consultants, project managers, government agencies and clients.
- Arranging project meetings, preparing agendas and meeting minutes.
- Applying your basic knowledge of the State and Local Government Planning Framework to a range of planning tasks.
