Description
To perform all functions related to receiving, shipping of production and interfacing with applicable departments.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, package and label product per defined procedure.
- Timely packing, shipment and invoice processing for customer orders, including related shop floor or shipping documentation.
- Prepare skids for customer shipment.
- Transact shipments in defined shipments carrier portals.
- Complete updating of inventory records, including receiving and properly stocking production into finished good locations.
- Assisting in back up of receiving functions and other duties as required.
- Assist in any department that requires additional help.
- Perform other duties as needed to support customers, manufacturing processes and Quality System. This includes following procedures, work instructions and completing all related documentation.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to stand or sit for excess of 8 hours in a day.
- Math and basic number skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division), use of decimals and fractions.
- Must be able to read, interpret and consistently follow drawings, specifications, manufacturing procedures, data-packs and workmanship Quality Standards.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Employees are required to have an eye exam for this position, 20/20 vision (with glasses or contacts if needed) is required and must be able to see colors.
- Read, Write, and speak English.
- Understand, and execute instruction from management.
- Ability to read work instructions and customer requirements.
