Front-End Developer
PlanStreet Inc. - Lexington, Kentucky (On-Site)
We are seeking a talented and passionate Front-End Developer to join our team and play a key role in building and maintaining our product's user interface (UI). The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in web development technologies and a keen eye for design.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with system analysts, stakeholders, and other developers to translate UI mockups and prototypes into clean, responsive, and user-friendly web applications.
- Write well-structured, maintainable, and efficient code using HTML, CSS, C#, and JavaScript.
- Develop and maintain front-end components that seamlessly integrate and exchange data with our .NET Core API using C#.
- Implement and integrate front-end frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Blazor) to enhance functionality and user experience.
- Work with the QA team to conduct thorough browser testing and debugging to ensure a seamless user experience across different browsers.
- Optimize website performance for speed and responsiveness across various devices (desktop, mobile, tablet).
- Stay up to date on the latest front-end development trends and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate effectively with the development team.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Front-End Developer with at least 3 years of professional experience.
- Solid understanding of front-end development principles, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with a modern front-end framework or library (e.g., React, Blazor) is a strong plus.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A passion for user experience (UX) and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Nice to Have:
- Ability to work with Power BI to understand customer requirements and use DAX/SQL to manipulate data.
- Good understanding of web APIs and how to parse/interpret JSON.
- Proficiency in requirement-gathering techniques, process modeling, and documentation.
