Job Overview:
We are seeking a relational, results-driven Sales Representative who wants to be the best at what they do. They will join a small but quickly-growing team with high energy selling products and services to a small number of customers at the high-end of the industry. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for sourcing and developing new referral partner relationships, building and managing high-stakes relationships in a complex selling environment and continuing key client relationships throughout and after projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Generate new referral streams through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Prioritize your time to identify and close high-value transactions using a proven sales methodology- Strategic Selling by Miller Heiman
- Qualify leads using MEDDIC, conduct project discovery, prepare sales presentations and own all relationships for the buyer/buying influence.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and quotas.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting referral and customer relationships.
- Discover and influence decision criteria and provide best in class solutions that align with our products and services and the aesthetic requirements of the project.
- Negotiate and close win-win deals, ensuring that all contract terms and conditions are met.
- Become an expert in product knowledge and market trends to effectively present offerings and position the company as an expert to clients and referral partners
- Maintain a sales activity plan along with accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and sales pipeline in CRM software.
- Collaborate with the marketing and customer service teams to ensure client satisfaction and follow-up on new prospects.
- Participate in networking events, team meetings, sales training, company and industry events to continuously improve skills and performance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales/customer facing roles using a complex sales process such as Strategic Selling by Miller Heiman
- Context for high-end design-build, architecture, construction, landscaping or civil engineering
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Information management skills- Capturing details and self-organizing
- Ability to work independently yet be accountable to reporting and action plans
- Self-motivated- desire to achieve and exceed targets.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of the industry and market trends is a plus.
- Passion for a personal productivity or planning system that empowers prioritization
Preferred Skills & Competencies:
- Experience with landscape design-build
- Ability to build rapport quickly with referral partners and clients
- Understanding of luxury-buyer psychographic and selling to HNWI
