POSITION TITLE: Sanitation Team Lead
REPORTS TO: Director of Operations
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possess a working knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Understand regulations pertaining to proper sanitation standards in a facility manufacturing dietary supplements
- Able to train employees at all levels of the organization
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- 2-3 years of sanitation experience required in a manufacturing environment
JOB SUMMARY: The Sanitation Team Lead ensures the employees and the conditions in which they work are held to the highest standards of cleanliness. They develop both the cleaning practices in the facility and strictly monitor adherence to these practices at all levels of the company. They will be expected to work closely with the Operations Team as well as the Quality Team to ensure that products produced at Canyonside Labs are done so in the safest way possible.
DUTIES:
SANITATION:
- Schedule and manage sanitation team to ensure plant operations meet mandatory sanitation requirements for machinery, equipment, and facility
- Instructs facility employees at all levels in safe working practices including chemical handling, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements for cleaning and sanitation
- Must be able to follow (OSHA) guidelines when using and storing chemicals, including maintaining SDS records
- Develop and maintain records that will be used to correctly document and track cleaning and sanitation of equipment, rooms, etc.
- Create a master sanitation plan for the facility
- Perform regular facility inspections to ensure staff is adhering to facility sanitation standards
- Participate in the development and auditing of Standard Operating Procedures
- Strictly enforce set standards for sanitation
- SDS Management
WORK LOCATION: Twin Falls, Idaho
HOURS: Full Time - Monday - Thursday 6am-4:30pm with occasional atypical hours as needed
