Your role.
Your work will include, but not be limited to:
- Utilizing technical expertise to consult with clients on a variety of employee benefit consulting services best suited to meet client needs and objectives including:
- Qualified Retirement Plans Consulting
- Actuarial valuations (including standard defined benefit plans and cash balance plans)
- Defined benefit settlement strategies (plan termination, lump sum window, annuity placements)
- Multiemployer defined benefit plan consulting
- Compliance testing (ADP/ACP, cross testing, DB/DC combo plans, etc.)
- Form 5500 preparation
- Collaborating with staff to advise clients on alternate methods of solving needs or problems and creating solutions
- Interacting with clients at all levels to ensure excellent service delivery and satisfaction
The qualifications.
- Bachelor's degree required
- 2-5 years of experience in an employee benefits related field, consulting, legal, tax, or accounting environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and consulting skills
- Qualified individuals must either reside in or near the Metro Detroit area or be willing to relocate to the area for this opportunity
