Duties
- Manage all aspects of corporate accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis to support strategic planning and operational efficiency.
- Prepare accurate financial reports and forecasts for management review.
- Oversee account reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory reporting requirements and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation as required.
- Ensuring all entries are recorded accurately in accordance with double-entry bookkeeping principles.
- Review account analysis reports regularly to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.
Skills
- Proficient in financial analysis techniques and forecasting methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of corporate accounting practices, including regulatory reporting and compliance.
- Experience with account reconciliation processes and general ledger reconciliation.
- Excellent skills in financial report writing, capable of presenting complex information clearly and concisely.
- Familiarity with Quickbooks or similar accounting software is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping principles.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all financial documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
