The Opportunity
We are seeking a Team Lead to join Planview’s Austin-based corporate accounting team in a dynamic, fast-paced and high-growth environment. This role presents an exciting opportunity to own global consolidation and reporting responsibilities within NetSuite for a complex, multi-national, privately held SaaS company, that has grown through both organic expansion and strategic acquisitions. The position reports to the Senior Manager of Accounting.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive NetSuite experience in a global organization, including consolidations, preparation of consolidated worldwide financial statements and a strong understanding of foreign currency translation (FX), cumulative translation adjustments (CTA) and international VAT/GST compliance.
As Team Lead, you will collaborate closely with our global accounting teams (primarily based in Austin, Stockholm, Bangalore and Paris) to manage and coordinate the monthly close and consolidation process in NetSuite. You will also work in partnership with our FP&A team to deliver accurate and timely financial statements for both internal management and external stakeholders.

What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary NetSuite expert on the global accounting team, with focus on reporting, consolidation, and system optimization. Act as the main liaison between Accounting, the IT Business Applications team and the NetSuite Administrator.
- Own the consolidation and preparation global financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Cash Flow Statement) in accordance with US GAAP, including consolidation journal entries, supporting schedules, and financial calculations for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles.
- Lead the global month-end close and consolidation process within NetSuite, including management of the close calendar and coordination with Executive Management and FP&A team on all reporting deadlines and deliverables.
- Note: This role does not include detailed GL account level analysis financial content review, which is the responsibility of regional accounting directors and managers.
- Oversee NetSuite user access controls across all global users and ensure appropriate role-based permissions.
- Deliver training and ongoing support to new and existing NetSuite users, scaling enablement as the business grows and evolves.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure the NetSuite environment meets the operational and reporting needs of the business.
- Facilitate user requirements sessions to assess current-state workflows across regions.
- Collaborate with NetSuite Administrators on implementation and enhancement projects across all subsidiaries.
- Build and enhance tailored reports and dashboards for business unit leaders and management teams.
- Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and workflows globally.
- Act as a key point of contact for internal teams, with a strong understanding of business processes and the ability to map them effectively into NetSuite. Assist with the annual US GAAP audit, ensuring all reporting documentation is complete and accurate.
- Perform other corporate accounting tasks as needed, in support of the Chief Accounting Officer and broader accounting organization.
What You'll Bring
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
- Advanced NetSuite proficiency with SuiteAnalytics, Saved Searches, Financial Report Builder and custom reporting tools.
- Experience in an international multi-entity, multi-book environment including intercompany and consolidation.
- Experience in Workday Adaptive Planning preferred (not required)
- CPA License preferred (or actively pursuing CPA certification)
- 4 years of relevant accounting experience (preference for candidates with a blend of industry and public accounting experience)
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and the ability to conduct technical accounting research
- Located in Austin, Texas, with the ability to work in-office on a hybrid basis

- Strong analytical thinking, creativity, problem solving and time-management abilities, with a proven ability to plan and execute effectively.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with solid skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Detail oriented, with excellent organization and communication skills.
