Primarily serving the aerospace and industrial gas turbine (IGT) industry, Plas-Mac will supply everything from individual patterns to elaborate fully gated assemblies. These products are later used to power a wide range of applications from small flight engines to the largest land-based industrial gas turbines.
Aerospace and IGT product lines include:
- Complex multiple-vane, single-shot, cored and solid wax patterns
- Cored and solid blades and vanes
- Fully gated pattern assemblies for Equiax, DS and Single Crystal applications that are complete and ready for the dip line
- Compressor wheels, all wax, cored wax and plastic-wax assemblies
- Support for casting schedules on any scale
Job Description
The Plas-Mac corporation has an immediate need for a Wax Injector. There are 2 start times available (5am and 6am).
Job Responsibilities:
- Machine operated wax injection molding
- Product Types include: Solid wax, Ceramic core, Plastic, Water soluble
- Quality checks and minor finishing
- 12-ton to 100-ton machines
- Small to Large airfoil blades and vanes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the investment casting industry
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
