Summary
As a result of our rapid growth and expanding operations, we are actively seeking AWS certified weld inspectors on both first and second shift to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established PNA, customer and regulatory requirements. These roles are essential to supporting our increasing project demands and ensuring the continued high quality and standards of our welding processes. Our regular work schedule is a four day, 10-hour schedule Monday - Thursday, however, we are currently working Fridays and some Saturdays due to launch requirements.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of welded components to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
- Document inspection findings and maintain accurate records of quality control activities.
- Assist in training personnel on welding standards and quality requirements.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) credential from the American Welding Society (AWS).
- Additional certifications in non-destructive testing (NDT) methods such as MT, PT, UT, or RT are beneficial.
- Additional qualifications in welding codes (e.g., ASME, API, AWS) and safety standards (e.g., OSHA) are a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in welding, fabrication, or manufacturing environments.
- Proven experience in inspecting welded joints and materials.
- Experience with various inspection techniques (e.g., visual, ultrasonic, magnetic particle) is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of welding processes, materials, and welding codes (e.g., AWS D1.1, ASME, API).
- Proficiency in using inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and NDT equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify defects in welds.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
- Good communication skills for writing reports and interacting with other team members.
- Analytical skills to assess and solve complex welding-related issues.

Pay: $28.76 - $31.10 per hour
