About The Role

As an Operator at United Utility, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our power infrastructure projects. Your work directly impacts our business by maintaining and optimizing our vital electrical systems. You'll be part of a dynamic team that values innovation and inclusivity, and you'll contribute to the development of the energy sector in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain electrical equipment to ensure consistent performance.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot electrical systems, responding to issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with team members to implement maintenance and repair activities.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to maximize equipment lifespan.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines for efficient and secure operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment status and maintenance activities

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the electric utility industry.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Commitment to safety and adhering to industry regulations.

Key Nice-To-Haves

  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., NERC certification).
  • Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
