About the Job
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, repairing, and revising in-house fixtures and jigs to meet the requirements of Engineering, Assembly, and Molding departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, repair, and revise in-house fixtures and jigs as needed.
- Perform preventative maintenance activities and repairs on current production tools and fixtures.
- Complete all paperwork and computer/data entry into IQMS for work performed.
Work Schedule:
We operate on a 4/2 rotating schedule. Available hours include swing shift with two days on first shift (7:00am to 3:30pm) and two days on second shift (3:00pm to 11:30pm), followed by two days off.
Benefits:
- External candidates receive a $500 bonus after 90 days of employment, provided they meet performance and attendance requirements.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in plastic injection tooling revisions and repair.
- A 2-year technical school certificate/diploma in tool making or machine tool technology.
- Master Cam experience is beneficial but not required.
- Strong knowledge of tooling and mechanical aptitude are essential.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) are required.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English job instructions.
- Ability to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
