What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Operations Supervisor position at Plastech Corporation?

We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to fill the position of Lead Operator. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing and assisting machine operators to ensure they operate and maintain injection-molding presses or other manufacturing equipment safely.
In this role, you will also ensure product is being produced per the Quality Inspection Plan to assure conformance to customer requirements are met. Additionally, you will provide direction and assist operators during scheduled breaks.
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in manufacturing and/or assembly line or related production, as well as proven leadership skills. You must also possess the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary, with available shifts including 7:00am to 3:30pm at $16.50 per hour and 3:00pm to 11:00pm at $17.50 per hour. External candidates receive a $500 bonus after 90 days of employment, provided performance and attendance requirements are met.
