The Plastech Corporation is seeking a skilled Process Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on position that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail. As a Process Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting injection molding equipment, as well as performing processing adjustments to ensure optimal quality and production efficiency.
About the Position:
This position involves working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with frequent exposure to machinery and potential hazards. Applicants must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. A background in injection molding processing or a related field is highly desirable, as is knowledge of automation and robot operations.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and troubleshoot injection molding equipment
Perform processing adjustments to optimize quality and production efficiency
Conduct mold changes, set-ups, and start-ups according to established procedures and processes
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to equipment malfunctions and material problems
What We Offer:
Competitive hourly rates: $27.00-$29.00/hour (1st shift) and $33.00-$35.00/hour (3rd shift)
A rotating 6/3 schedule with 3 days off per week
A $5,000 bonus for external candidates who meet performance and attendance requirements

Qualifications:
Three to five years of related injection molding processing experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
