Company Description :
Plastic Molding Technology (PMT) manufactures high precision plastic parts for automotive, telecommunications, medical device, renewable energy, and industrial customers. The primary manufacturing processes are injection molding and thermoforming. PMT has ~100 injection molding presses at its two primary manufacturing locations in El Paso, TX and Centennial, CO (a suburb of Denver). A third facility in Longmont, CO (a suburb of Denver) provides in-house repair and fabrication of tools & dies.

What you’ll do :
Responsible for the quality of product for your assigned shift
Inspect in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, communicating required adjustments to production supervisor
Approve finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for re-work, and confirming re-work
Perform dimensional checks using sophisticated measurement devices such as digital height gauge, CMM, drop gauge, etc.
Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarize re-work and waste, and input data into quality database
Approve or reject raw materials with respect to quality standards and record supplier performance
Prepare and submit reports to the quality manager
Assist in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive action for process, product, internal, and external customer concerns
Perform other duties as assigned
What we’re looking for :
Proven experience as a quality control inspector or relevant role, 4 years minimum
A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
Demonstrated knowledge of advanced measurement equipment
Ability to multi-task and be detail-oriented
Good written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in MS Office Suite
Analytical / problem-solving capabilities
Ability to take on a leadership role
Works well under pressure
Ability to work independently as well as in teams
Possess a sense of urgency while performing tasks accurately
Dependable, self-motivated, strong work ethic, and innovative
