What you’ll do :
- Oversee all production shift personnel, assigning work, review performance, makes salary recommendations, provides coaching and counseling when necessary
- Performs process troubleshooting
- Lead a small team of associates in execution of Production tasks, work schedule, training, maintenance, and continuous improvement
- Training of all production colleagues and support staff
- Ensure the effective use of a personnel
- Monitoring and increasing efficiency in utilization and productivity
- Prioritizes mold set-ups and manning
- Collects and monitors machine down time and implements plan to reduce downtime
- Maintains production and maintenance logs as required
- Performs mold setups / startups as required
- Coordinates activities with support departments to ensure production metrics are achieved
- Enters and maintains all production data
- Implements lean initiatives and prioritize 5S on the shift
- Meets or exceeds Quality Goals working closely with the QC Department
- Continuous Improvement of the department through Lean initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Enforce safety standards on all areas of the production floor
What we’re looking for :
D-Shift Schedule : 7 PM - 7 AM
