What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA) position at Plastic Surgical Group?

Candidates MUST have graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant program and must have additional Medical Assistant Credentialing (CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA).

All candidates must have experience in Plastic / Cosmetic Surgery, Wound Care, or Dermatology. Candidates without this experience will not be considered.

Traveling will be required for this position to our NYC and Brooklyn locations.

REQUIREMENTS NEEDED :

Ability to speak English and Spanish (preferred)

2 years’ experience working as a medical assistant.

Experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Maintain flexibility within the schedule.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO PERFORMING THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES :

Assist physician with patient examinations and office procedures (suture removal, set-up for minor surgeries, etc.) Clean examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and ensure examination rooms are fully stocked.

Record patient and testing information, manage patient flow dressing changes, and log specimens.
