AssemblerJob Summary
Responsible for using components and parts to produce machines, goods, products, and other objects. Read and interpret blueprints, position parts, and examine connections for correct fit.
Study and interpret assembly instructions.
Listen and comprehend instructions and directions.
Verify all parts are present before performing work.
Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and parts lists.
Positions parts and subassemblies.
Interpret measurements.
Verify specifications.
Assemble components.
Ensure all parts are fitted and screwed in properly.
Alter dimensions to fit specifications.
A strong work ethic and a great attitude are needed.
Keep the work area clean.
Record inventory change sheets as required.
Work safely without presenting a direct threat to self or others.
Accurately record time on jobs and projects.
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Compliance with all safety rules and guidelines.
Consistently adhere to assigned work schedule, ensuring punctuality and reliability.
2 years’ experience in general assembly work or specialized training preferred.
Experience with power and hand tools is needed.
Basic math and communication skills required.
Read and interpret blueprints required.
Experience working with hydraulics and pneumatics is a plus.
Valid Driver’s License or Forklift Operator’s License
Climbing, Balancing, Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Crawling,
Reaching, Standing, Walking, Pushing, Pulling, Lifting, Grasping,
Repetitive Motions.
Job offers are contingent upon passing a drug screen.
