About The Role

As a Strategic Sourcing Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in crafting supply management processes from the ground up. This involves generating statements of work, refining requirements, setting performance metrics, and locking down cost targets. Your knack for strategic sourcing will be crucial in identifying top-tier suppliers and facilitating negotiations that culminate in successful partnerships.

Day-to-Day Journey

• Monitor & Report: Implement a robust system to keep track of all open purchase orders and deliver insightful weekly update reports.
• Plan Execution: Drive PEM’s goals forward by executing the Strategic and Annual Operating Plan with precision.
• Inventory and Logistics: Partner with shipping/receiving teams for flawless delivery follow-ups and inventory management.
• Cost Management: Employ an entrepreneurial mindset to reduce material costs, transforming supply chain into a competitive edge.
• Collaboration: Work seamlessly across Marketing, Engineering, and Finance departments to ensure optimal sourcing decisions.
• Safety & Compliance: Commit to all safety guidelines, ensuring a secure work environment.
• Contribute as a cross-functional team member to propel PEM’s performance.
  
  

Are You the Right Fit?

• Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
• 1-2 years in Supply Chain Management preferred
• Negotiation and interpersonal skills of the highest caliber
• Detail-oriented with a strong team play ethos
• Believe in thriving under pressure
• Must have: Valid Driver’s License
