Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, locate, and transport products throughout the facility. Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts move materials within the warehouse.
- Assist in shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of goods.
- Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to build pallets and prepare shipments for distribution.
- Follow OSHA regulations and company policies regarding safety practices in the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote efficiency and safety.
Experience
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment is a plus.
- Experience with shipping and receiving processes is beneficial.
- Knowledge of crane operation is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
