As a Parts Planner You Will:
- Compile data from sources such as contracts, purchase orders, invoices, requisitions, and accounting reports and write, type, or enter information into computer to maintain inventory, purchasing, shipping, or other records.
- Prepare requisitions, orders, or other documents for purchasing or requisitioning new or additional stock items.
- Compile stock control records and information such as consumption rate, characteristics of items in storage, and current market conditions, to determine stock supply and need for replenishment.
- Compare stock numbers, authorized substitutes, and other listed information with catalogs, manuals, parts lists, and similar references to verify accuracy of requisitions and shipping orders.
- Review files to determine unused items and recommends disposal of excess stock.
- Responsible for maintaining a high level of motivation.
- Housekeeping and safety.
- Responsible for reporting food safety issues to personnel with authority to initiate action.
- Responsible for maintaining ISO standards in the conversion department.
To be a Parts Planner, You’ll Need
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Mechanical knowledge required
- Expert knowledge in SAP
- Experience with keeping accurate Inventory records
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
Shift: Days 6:30am-3pm
Pay: $28.00 per hour
