Clean Tech is seeking a Shipping Area Leader for our facility in Dundee, MI. In this role, you will be assist in all warehousing activities and ensure that all phases of facility shipping, storage, and receiving operations are completed in a safe and efficient manner. This is a Direct Hire position.
Job Title: Shipping Area Leader
Location: Dundee, MI
Pay: $21.00/hr
Shift: Days 7am-7:30pm on a 3-2-2-3 schedule

What you’ll be doing:
- Ensures that the Plants Safety requirements, Quality Policy, Operational Procedures and High Standards of Workmanship are maintained at all times.
- Perform in the work flow and daily work functions of the warehouse
- Responsibilities include training employees; resolving problems in cooperation with Warehouse Lead
- Works with the Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to assure product flow for daily requirements are met
- Manages inbound and out bounds daily wither over road, rail, or bulk
- Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists associates in solving work problems by listening and being attentive to their needs and informs Warehouse Lead of all issues.
- Properly completes assigned paperwork and reviews paperwork tp make sure it is correct
- Safely operates forklift in both the warehouse and production areas
- Functions within the ISO/Team Environment
- Ensures forklift fleet is properly maintained
- Assures the internal and external flow of raw materials and finished product are maintained to meet production and customer requirements
- Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws
- Fills in for Warehouse Leads as needed
- Miscellaneous related duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Related Warehouse and Shipping Experience of 1 year or more in a Team Lead Role
- Desirable experience related to resin, liquid, or grain Bulk Loading of Trucks and Rail
- Exposure to managing paperwork such as Bills of Landing and load sheets
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers
- Ability to multitask in a fast paces environment
Physical Requirements
- Lifting Requirements: up to 50lbs frequently
- Constant: Lift and/or move up to 15lbs
- Frequent: Sit, stand and walk up to 12 hours per day
- Environment: Exposed to high levels of noise, recyclable debris and smell and extreme weather
