Technical Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Main Responsibilities:
- Carry out regular maintenance tasks on blow molding manufacturing equipment
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance strategies to enhance equipment performance
- Participate in changeovers and ensure efficient execution
- Repair and rebuild spare parts as needed
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, quality standards, operational practices, and procedures
- Pursue ongoing training and development opportunities to expand expertise in equipment installation and modification projects
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in a related field is preferred
- A minimum of three years of experience in maintaining manufacturing equipment; experience with Sidel equipment is highly valued
- A solid understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems, including troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- The ability to interpret technical documents, including manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- The ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights up to 20 feet
