Night Shift Supervisor - Production

We are seeking a Night Shift Supervisor - Production to oversee overall production operations across the site on the night shift at Plastipak Holdings.

This role is responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient performance within and across the production floor, providing supervision, guidance, and assistance to Production Technicians.

Responsibilities:

This role includes:

• Leading Technician on the production floor to help ensure efficient bottle and container production.
• Ensuring products meet customer specified requirements.
• Providing coaching and guidance to Technicians.
• Reporting on the effectiveness and performance of production activities to the production manager.
• Resolving machinery and quality problems in the production area by working with Maintenance, as needed.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience with solid people leadership abilities.
• A minimum of 3 years of manufacturing production or maintenance experience.
• Able to communicate in a positive and effective manner, both written and verbal.
• Previous experience using an ERP system, with a preference for SAP.
• Ability to utilize Excel to record information and compile reports.
• Mechanical aptitude, with the ability to use basic hand tools, such as wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, etc.
