Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our Plastipak Holdings team.
Main Job Duties:
- Regularly perform maintenance tasks on blow molding manufacturing equipment
- Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to optimize equipment performance
- Participate in changeovers and ensure seamless transitions
- Repair and rebuild spare parts as needed
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, quality standards, operational practices, and procedures
- Pursue ongoing training and development opportunities to expand expertise in equipment installation and modification projects
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in a related field is preferred
- A minimum of three years of experience in maintaining manufacturing equipment; experience with Sidel equipment is preferred
- Solid understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems, including troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret technical documents, including manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights up to 20 feet
