Process Technician

As a Process Technician, you will operate top-of-the-line extrusion and blow-molding manufacturing equipment in a clean, safe, and climate-controlled environment. You will be responsible for producing high-quality rigid plastic containers for leading consumer brands.

Your Responsibilities

• Operate various manufacturing equipment in a safe and controlled environment.
• Monitor equipment settings (heat control, water cooling temperatures, hydraulic pressure, etc.) to produce high-quality plastic containers.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Ensure Plastipak customer requirements are met by performing quality checks for specifications, such as bottle weights and dimensions.

Your Qualifications

• Ability to work a rotating schedule with two 3-day weekends off every month.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of relevant experience operating production equipment in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics and basic mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation.
