About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Product Development Engineer to join our R&D Quality Department. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and producing high-quality rigid plastic containers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and validate products and equipment with R&D, customers, and manufacturing sites.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by verifying requirements, monitoring quality, and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to transfer knowledge from development to production phase.
- Analyze data using statistical tools to measure process and product specification conformance.
- Drive a culture of process control and variability reduction.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and develop standardized programs for automated systems.
- Maintain ISO standards and food safety certification.
- Partner with customers, suppliers, and internal partners to develop quality processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field or 3 years of experience in product development.
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma tools and SPC/Analytics software packages.
- Knowledge of DOE, FMEA, 8D, Root Cause Analysis, etc.
- Ability to travel approximately 25%.
