R&D Process Technician
As an R&D Process Technician, you operate equipment to develop and test plastic containers & related tooling. Our R&D Center in Jackson Center leads product development of containers for top consumer brands. In this role, you will contribute to Plastipak’s high quality standards and positive team culture.

Consistent Schedule : Monday – Friday from 7 : 30am-4 : 30pm
You Will
Monitor and operate Extrusion molding machinery and related equipment.
Assure customer requirements are met by performing quality checks for specifications, such as bottle weights & dimensions.
Identify corrective actions to eliminate defects through the product development process.
Perform preventative maintenance on machines and auxiliary equipment as assigned.
Join with your team to identify continuous improvement opportunities focused on safety, reliability, quality & scrap reduction.
You Have
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
Mechanical, electrical or other technical / machine operation experience
Working knowledge of extrusion, injection or blow molding equipment is preferred
