You Will
Report food safety issues to personnel with authority to initiate action
Initiate action for food safety issues
Observe mechanical devices in operation and trouble shoots to locate causes of trouble, specifically compressors and refrigeration.
Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.
Examine form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments.
Repair or replace defective parts. Install special functional and structural parts in devices.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment.
Lubricate and cleans parts.
Start devices to test their performance.
Perform work in a safe manner, and is responsible for following all safety policies and procedures, including lockout / tagout procedures.
Adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices GMP rules.
Maintain high standards relating to area housekeeping.
Communicate effectively with Team Leaders, Production Technicians, and other plant personnel.
Have the authority to place product on hold.
Perform other duties as assigned.
You Have
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
A minimum of three (3) years of experience maintaining manufacturing equipment.
Experience with Gem Wheel, Husky, Sidel, Palletizer & Airveyor is preferred.
Solid hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical knowledge, along with the ability to troubleshoot & problem solve
Ability to interpret technical & operational documents, including manuals, blueprints, schematics
ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work on aerial platforms up to 20 feet with or without reasonable accommodation
You'll Earn
20-25 per hour, based on qualifications, education, and experience
Night shift includes a shift differential of $1.00 per hour
