Clinic Overview

Plate Chiropractic is a Chiropractic practice that provides a variety of modalities including Chiropractic, massage therapy, dry needling/acupuncture, spinal decompression, shockwave therapy, and basic exercise prescription. Our number one goal is customer service, patient satisfaction, and providing a warm, welcoming environment. We have been practicing for 20 years and currently practice in a facility in Allen, Texas. We are excited for the opportunity of growth and bringing on someone who can help with therapy assistance, manage office procedures, and systems to assist the doctor in the number one job of helping the patient.

Job Summary

The Chiropractic Assistant / Physical Therapy Assistant does wear many hats in the office. The assistant will help the Chiropractor with patient care and patient experience. From the time the patient walks in the office until when they leave the office, the assistant will be a vital role in the experience.

Ideal candidate must be comfortable in physically working with patients. Therapy role will include helping with manual therapies, needle removal, decompression therapy, exercise/stretch assistance, and treatment modalities including shockwave and electrical modalities. We will train you on modalities and work towards self-sufficiency and excellence.

There are fundamentals of customer service including phone etiquette, taking payments, scheduling appointments, and overall friendliness. Therefore, we are looking for a personable person who is enthusiastic about patient care, helping others, and customer service. The candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, and efficient in providing excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Friendly face to greet and welcome clients
• Therapy assistance as mentioned previously
• Schedule appointments, collect fees
• Basic data entry into computer, electronic health record, and charts
• Assist Chiropractors during treatment and patient flow
• Organize and execute internal/external marketing for the practice

Requirements

• Professional, clean attire, and clean, personal hygiene
• Dependable and on time
• Previous customer service experience is a plus
• Basic computer knowledge including email, Microsoft, calendars, etc.
• Excellent communication skills
• Great attitude!!!

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
