What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller position at Plateau?
Plateau is now accepting applications for a Controller for our Clovis, NM Headquarters location.
The Controller will coordinate all financial activities for the Company and supervise day-to-day accounting operations. Responsibilities include overseeing the general ledger, bank relations, financial reporting, and establishing and maintaining accounting and credit policies. Other responsibilities include coordinating and overseeing the annual budget, income and property tax preparation, audits, grants, investments, and cash flow. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Minimum requirements to apply include a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, at least five years of previous experience in accounting, a thorough knowledge of accounting methods and principles, proficiency in Excel and other Windows-based accounting packages, and at least two years of previous supervisory experience. An MBA or related master’s degree, CPA, and previous telecom accounting experience are preferred.
