What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vinyl Graphics Installer position at Platemakers/Hornet Signs?
As a graphic installer, you install vinyl graphics, such as vehicle wraps, signage, and vinyl lettering, to personal or commercial vehicles. You can also install floor graphics or vinyl graphics on walls and windows to homes and businesses. Your duties include cutting and shaping the graphics to fit each surface, heating and applying graphics, disassembling and reassembling products during the application, and using proper adherence and cutting techniques during application. Graphic installers carry out some of their responsibilities on-site in a workshop to prepare vinyl, but you also need to travel to customer locations to complete each job.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Install Vehicle Vinyl Wraps and other materials
- Removing existing wraps or graphics from already wrapped vehicles.
- Print Production, Laminating, Cutting, Weeding, Mounting, Wall Wrapping, Sign production etc.
- Be proficient in laminating, applying large format graphics, weeding and applying cut vinyl in the shop and on site.
- Be proficient with tools.
- Run printer, laminator, general warehouse duties.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 1-year Experience REQUIRED in vehicle graphics installations
- Ability to complete installs in an efficient and manner without sacrificing quality of work
- Ability to work as an individual or as a team player to meet customers' installation needs
- Ability to communicate effectively to ensure every install result in a satisfied customer
- Previous experience in the sign industry a plus.
- Clean DMV report to drive a company car.'
