JOB TITLE : ANALYST / ASSISTANT TO THE CHIEF ENGINEER
DEPARTMENT : ENGINEERING
REPORTS TO : CHIEF ENGINEER
CLASSIFICATION : NON-EXEMPT
STATUS : FULL-TIME
JOB SUMMARY :
Analysis / Assistant to the Chief Engineer performs analytical, research, and administrative duties to support the operations of the Engineering department. Duties include working on various projects to track schedule, ordering, drawing releases, requirements and various coordination of projects within Platform Aerospace.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Assist with project documentation, such as plans and reports, and scheduling.
- Supports engineering team in various activities related to documentation, schedules, production flow and purchasing.
- Supports the engineering team in checking and maintaining BOM’s, research of parts and delivery of prototype assemblies.
- Supports the Chief Engineer on daily tasks to complete internal and external projects
- Research and analyze administrative, financial and / or operations data.
- Compile and prepare results and reports.
- Provides administrative support to managers and staff.
- Perform other duties as are necessary and / or required.
