JOB TITLE: ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN II (ELECTII)
DEPARTMENT: AIRCRAFT INTEGRATIONS
REPORTS TO: AIRCRAFT INTEGRATION SUPERVISOR
CLASSIFICATION: NON-EXEMPT
STATUS: FULL-TIME
Job Summary:
Under indirect supervision, responsible for performing the full range of duties in electrical systems for aircraft installations.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance and resolution when electrical or engineering problems are encountered before, during, and after production.
- Install and maintain electrical systems including cable harness/components
- Assemble electrical and electronic systems and prototypes according to engineering data and knowledge of electrical principles, using hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Modify electrical prototypes, parts, assemblies, in accordance with (IAW) electrical drawings/schematics.
- Set up and operate test equipment.
- Analyze and interpret test information to resolve design-related problems.
- Ability to understand Redline processes while working closely with supervisor.
- Build, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical component/wire harness, IAW the electrical Drawing /schematics.
- Perform other duties as are necessary and/or required.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 2-5 years of experience with electronic systems, electronics troubleshooting, electronic testing design, analyzing information.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to obtain security clearance.
- Recurring FOD training and awareness, upon hire and annually.
- Ability to comprehend schematics and integration/installation drawings.
Preferred Requirements:
- Must have knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A 620 certification
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Manual dexterity and physical strength necessary to operate tools or make adjustments and repairs.
- Must have visual acuity to inspect equipment and identify defects.
- Ability to traverse manufacturing facility
