Position Reports to: Senior Vice President, SBA Manager
Objective: The SBA Loan Assistant will aid in product and services delivery, onboarding, and client relationship management freeing up the time of the SBA Business Development Officers and SBA Portfolio Managers so they can focus on the clients. Position will be responsible to maintain a positive, high touch, hospitable client experience while exemplifying Platinum Bank’s Client Service Standards. Candidate must have the ability to multi-task daily activities and have strong organizational skills. Previous commercial loan administration experience is desired.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide support for SBA Business Development Officers and SBA Portfolio Managers.
General Administrative Support:
· Provide customer service and enhance customer relationship portraying the service culture of Platinum Bank
· Perform various administrative and data entry duties
· Coordinate schedules, make appointments, provide setup for meetings and prepare/send correspondence
Product Support:
Perform various duties to assist in processing new product requests including loans, deposits, related services and loan renewals to include:
· Collaborate with third party service providers and internal support staff to efficiently manage the credit process, perform customer due diligence and coordinate loans for underwriting.
· Input loan SBA loan prospects and loan data
· Perform quality review of document collection from pre-flight to credit underwriting
· Order and obtain loan closing documentation in connection to post-closing servicing request
· Support the application process gathering information, performing CIP due diligence, preparing CIP documents and conducting customer information system set up.
· Collaborate with Deposit Services to create deposit account documents, open and onboard deposit accounts
· Maintain customer electronic records to resolve financial exceptions
· Order spreads from credit team as assigned
· Perform technical support in customer onboarding process to ensure set up with electronic document signing and secure portal
· Other tasks as assigned
Client Services:
Perform various duties to assist in supporting clients with new and existing deposit services requests to include:
· Greet customers, answer phones and provide customer service portraying the service culture of Platinum Bank.
· Assist customers with account questions, maintenance and troubleshooting service requests
Other Responsibilities:
· Comply with Federal and State Regulatory Compliance Statutes and bank policies and procedures applicable to the functions being performed
· Performs other responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and/or Experience
· High School degree or GED Required
· Preferred 4 year college degree or (5 ) years related banking experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Loan administrative experience is desired.
Communication Skills
· Excellent interpersonal & customer service skills
· Ability to listen, speak clearly and effectively to others.

· Satisfactory skill set in the use of the following software applications: Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
· Experience with Jack Henry applications desirable.
· Experience with nCino applications desirable.
· Experience with DocuSign and ID.Me desirable.
