Job Summary :
We are seeking an outstanding Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team at Barksdale Air Force Base (AFB) in LA. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional healthcare services to military members, their families, and retired military veterans. As an LCSW, you will be responsible for coordinating referrals, assessing the psychosocial functioning of patients, formulating treatment plans, conducting psychosocial assessments, providing counseling and psychotherapy services, and participating in professional peer review case conferences.
Qualifications :
- Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from a School of Social Work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE)
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience working as an LCSW
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker
- Must be a US Citizen
Responsibilities :
Work Schedule :
The schedule will be flexible and adjusted based on mission / clinic needs, with hours between 6 : 00 a.m. and 6 : 00 p.m. The maximum working hours per day are 10 hours, and the maximum working hours per week are 40 hours. Schedules will be provided at least 3 months in advance, with a minimum of 48 hours notice for any changes. Overtime hours must be authorized.
Place of Performance :
This position will be performed at Barksdale AFB, LA, specifically at the 2d Medical Group.
