Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery . This role requires a strong understanding of farm machinery, animal husbandry, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed. The Machine Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of equipment used for irrigation, growing, and animal care.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain greenhouse machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Irrigate crops and manage water resources effectively.
- Utilize hand tools for various tasks related to plant growth and maintenance.
- Assist in the care of animals, ensuring their health and well-being.
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance on farm machinery to prevent breakdowns.
- Engage in heavy lifting as required for equipment and materials.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and maintain a safe working environment.
Experience
- Previous experience operating farm machinery is preferred.
- Knowledge of greenhouse operations and plant growing techniques is beneficial.
- Familiarity with animal husbandry practices and equine care is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently with hand tools and perform physical tasks related to heavy lifting.
