Job Description

Platinum Converting is looking for a talented Estimator to join our growing team in Bartlett, IL. If you are a hardworking individual with a background in estimating projects in the Graphics Arts Industry, then we want to talk to you! In this position, you will be responsible for producing price estimates for our customers, sourcing needed materials and working directly with our customers to help meet their needs. Responsibilities

• Learn and use our estimating program to produce accurate estimates for our customers.
• Leverage your industry experience to recommend the best manufacturing plan.
• Create estimates from customers, sales, or project management requests.
• When needed, call a customer to discuss a project and verify specs.
• Stay up to date on new machines and best manufacturing practices.
• Be proactive in initiating new ways to keep estimating efficient and accurate.
• Collaborate with all departments to develop creative solutions to customers’ needs including design, estimates and project timelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in the printing industry OR estimating experience in the printing/finishing industry a Plus
• Must be able to work well with a team.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel a plus
• Ability to multi-task

Compensation

• Compensation for this position will be based on the experience of the candidate.
