- Position Purpose:
The Regional Manager will be responsible for all non-provider, operating functions within the Platinum Dermatology Partners network of clinics. In conjunction with and reporting to the Regional Director of Operations, such tasks include managing staff, implementing operational plans to meet/exceed growth projections, adhering to all federal, state, and company regulations, and providing and promoting strong clinical partnerships with clinic staff, management, physicians, providers, and executive leaders. Must be a positive influencer and establish an authentic culture of servant leadership. This role ensures operational effectiveness and holds P&L responsibility in the assigned region.
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:

- Effectively guides supports, and supervises staff and practice managers across the designated region(s), including aiding managers in determining appropriate staffing, hiring top talent, and providing leadership to managers on strategies and day-to-day operational matters.
- Implements best practices and systems that support the achievement of both profit and growth targets.
- Build and execute productivity plans, review work forecasts, and determine productivity requirements.
- Serves as Primary contact for the practice team members and provides day-to-day non-clinical operational support.
- Coach, Mentor and Elevate all practice managers on operational excellence by providing training and coaching within the region.
- Review financial performance reporting over multiple offices to identify operational opportunities to build sustainable practice growth.
- Assess workforce planning, recruiting, and retention strategy to maintain the optimum performance of each supported practice.
- Engage with office leaders by utilizing the tools within PowerBi to monitor metrics while identifying challenges and taking advantage of growth opportunities.
- Evaluate real-time analysis of data and implement a high-level strategy to increase profitability. Monitor the P&L statements for each supported practice and develop effective ways to close the gaps between actual performance and company projections.
- Ability to analyze business reporting and create recommendations/action to attain yearly budgetary and contribution goals, prioritizing supported practice performance issues to ensure issues impacting
- Same Office Growth (SOG), revenue, and profitability (EBITDA) are addressed first.
- Provide coaching and consulting around industry-leading solutions, business and financial needs, clinical growth, execution, and implementation of key initiatives.
- Ability to quickly build rapport, trust, and credibility with team members.
- Arrange training activities to educate, prioritize, and execute operational opportunities. Execute customized learning plans using the results of the practice analytics along with your insights and expertise.
- Help build relationships between doctors and their teams by creating a culture of success and synergy that allows practices to focus on driving clinical and business excellence.
- Serve as a point of escalation for Practice Managers to include physicians and providers.
- Must create a culture of partnership for physicians, providers, and management.
- Monitors performance to ensure each clinic operates optimally and within budgeted guidelines.
- Troubleshoot and implement solutions related to issues that may come up within clinic operations, including revenue cycle, staffing, compliance, and patient experience.
- Work with the Director of Integrations to ensure a smooth transition of new practices acquired by Platinum Dermatology Partners.
- Work with other leaders to assist with driving top-line revenue, for example, VP of Aesthetic and Sales, VP of Marketing, and VP of Operations.
- Review operational performance reports regularly (weekly/monthly/quarterly) to ensure expectations are being achieved and met.
- Development of key performance indicators that can be reviewed with executive leadership.
- Organizes and conducts practice operations meetings.
- Provides support for implementing Physician Leadership Council-authorized initiatives by working with site-level clinical providers to support clinical operations.
- Enforces and demonstrates compliance with all State and Federal Regulations, Medicare Regulations, and Platinum Dermatology Partners policies and procedures.
- Routinely presents to executive leadership plans outlining performance gaps within teams and strategies to address negative variances.
- Assist in interviewing candidates for key roles (office managers, clinical managers, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, etc.).
- Participation in and taking the lead on special projects as well as other duties as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management/Business Administration or equivalent experience.
- Master’s degree in Healthcare Management preferred.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Minimum 7 years experience in medical office management or other healthcare-related positions preferred.
- 5 years of people management experience.
- At lease 3 years of managing a region or multiple facilities/clinics.
- Ability to independently manage strategic initiatives and elevate issues/concerns.
- Strong understanding of financials with a specialty in patient engagement, growth, and retention.
- Must be enthusiastic about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer/patient experiences.
- Ability to manage a large slate of parallel initiatives and capable of carrying out multiple projects while prioritizing tasks.
- High level of interpersonal skills, integrity, and professionalism; solid team player with a can-do attitude.
- A high degree of customer relationship management expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead the day-to-day client service relationships.
- A team player who handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven business acumen within a healthcare environment.

Equipment Operated: Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc.
Physical Requirements: Must possess manual dexterity to operate office machines including computer and calculator; stooping and bending to handle files and supplies; and mobility to complete errands or deliveries. Includes handling of sharps and chemicals.
