Must have previous experience with electrical repair for CNC Machines OR PLC's Journeyman highly preferredPay : Up to $40 an hour with $1 shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shift.Shifts : New employees can expect to begin on 2nd or 3rd shift. (2nd shift : 2PM - 10PM; 3rd shift : 10PM - 6AM)Overtime : The union contract allows AAM to mandate 2 / 3 Saturdays a month. Overtime schedules are posted every Thursday and works on a rotational basis.Overtime Pay : Over 40 hours and Saturdays are 1.5x hourly pay; Sunday and holidays are paid 2x hourly pay. Electricians with Journeyman’s card, or 7 years of direct electrician experience. Must have experience in a manufacturing environment on manufacturing equipment – NOT facilities maintenance. A qualified journeyman electrician with construction or facilities experience is not a fit. Electric work must be on machines in the manufacturing environment, in any industry (automotive preferred) Experience industrial maintenance, electrical maintenance, high voltage (medium voltage), 480V, 120V, down to 24 volt DC circuitry. PLC experience, Allen Bradley preferred Familiar with going through the parameters of Program Frequency Drives (controls engineers help with this but familiarity is important) CNC Machining facility, so having CNC experience would be preferred. Experience with Fanuc and Siemens controllers on CNC machines preferred. Please note, if candidates were heavier on PLC's and lighter on CNC's or vice versa it would be fine.
