Planning Manager Life Science & Industrial Manufacturing Projects
Platinum Global Talent Solutions is delighted to partner with our client, a leading global Consultancy renowned for delivering high-profile, complex and iconic large-scale capital projects. With a strong focus on sustainability and innovation, our client is at the forefront of their industry.
We are seeking to appoint a full-time, talented Planning Manager to support major capital projects in the Life Sciences and Industrial Manufacturing sectors. In this client-facing role, you will play a pivotal role in the delivery of key projects ensuring alignment with company goals, while managing planning, scheduling, and performance for complex programs.
Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Support : Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues and key stakeholders, actively contributing to the success of the project. Provide support and guidance for the long-term success of the planning function, while upholding company values and their commitment to sustainability.
Project Planning & Execution : Manage the planning, scheduling, and monitoring of construction projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and client expectations. Support senior management in negotiations, contract development, and business strategy, ensuring due diligence in all aspects.
Collaboration : Foster a diverse and inclusive work environment, prioritizing the wellbeing of your team and creating a collaborative, supportive environment where knowledge sharing and team development are encouraged.
Safety & Compliance : Champion a commitment to safety by ensuring strict adherence to safety standards, regulations, and project compliance, while promoting a culture of safety first across all project phases.
Qualifications
- Relevant degree qualification (MS or MBA preferred)
- Professional membership or working towards demonstrable professional or personal development
- Demonstrated capital program leadership experience
- Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6, MS Project and MS Excel
- Experience delivering Life Science, Manufacturing or other significant industrial capital projects
- Strong commercial and financial acumen
- Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams
- Experience of managing relationships with key senior stakeholders
- Knowledge of carbon and sustainability considerations and how these will shape the outlook of the projects
