Unarmed Security Officer (Bilingual) Spanish

Platinum Group Security is looking to expand our team in the South Miami Beach area!!! We are looking for seasoned unarmed security officers with exceptional customer service skills. We are looking to place these officers at one of our many properties to provide outstanding security services for our many clients.

Job Brief:

We are looking for licensed and qualified Unarmed Security Officers to provide physical security services to ensure the safety and protection of our client sites. You will be responsible for monitoring property access, detecting any suspicious behavior, preparing incident reports, patrolling if required, and maintaining a highly visible presence. The goal is to detect, deter, observe and report.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Gatehouse/Rover/Front Desk

· Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property while following proper procedure to grant access to visitors, vendors and contractors.

· Patrol premises when required to maintain a vigilant security presence.

· Observing for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.

· Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment.

· Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences.

· Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter.

· Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates.

· Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment.

Requirements:

· Have a valid FL Security D License

· Have a valid Driver’s License

· Have strong customer service skills

· Have strong written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to operate visitor management systems

· A thorough understanding of public safety and security procedures/protocols

· Integrity and professionalism

The physical and mental requirements of this job may include the following: seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly. Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time.
